We pull your current rankings via Search Console + 3rd-party SERP APIs, deduplicate against your competitor set, and build your tracked-keyword universe. Average campaign tracks 300-1,500 keywords.

Day 2-3 — Geo grid configured (local only)
For local campaigns, we plot 25 geo-grid points around your service area. Each is checked daily for your top 10 transactional keywords. Generates a heatmap that updates every morning.

Day 3-5 — GSC + GA4 connected
We OAuth your Search Console and GA4 properties; from then on, every dashboard view shows ranking + clicks + impressions + sessions on the same screen. You can finally see what ranking changes actually moved revenue.

Day 5+ — First baseline snapshot stored
We snapshot every tracked keyword's rank as the campaign baseline. From this point on, every dashboard view shows movement vs. baseline AND vs. last 30/90/365 days — the comparisons your old agency couldn't make.

What SERP data source do you use?
We use a combination of SERP APIs (DataForSEO + Serpwow as failover) plus Search Console for impression-volume cross-validation. The geo-grid heatmap uses a different source that supports city-level geolocation per request. We never scrape Google directly — that's slow and unreliable.
How fast do rankings appear after you start a campaign?
Baseline is captured Day 5 (after keyword list lockdown). After that, every day's check shows movement vs. baseline. So you see ranking activity in the dashboard from Week 1 — but the dashboard makes a clear distinction between 'baseline shifting' (normal volatility) and 'campaign moving' (intentional SEO work paying off). That second signal usually starts showing around Week 6-10 depending on niche.
Can I track keywords in different countries?
Yes. Each keyword gets a country + city target on intake. We commonly run campaigns where 80% of keywords are in the U.S. and 20% are in Canada, U.K., or Australia. Anything supported by Google Search.
What about local-pack specifically — do you track Map Pack position?
Yes. For local campaigns, the geo-grid heatmap is dedicated to Map Pack tracking. Every grid point checks both Map Pack and organic SERP for the keyword set. You see when you enter the Map Pack, your average position across the grid, and which sub-areas of your service area you're weakest in.
Do I get login access to the platform, or just monthly PDFs?
You get a real login. Every Profit Labs™ client gets their own dashboard at app.profitlabs.net with daily rank data, content production status, backlink placements, and traffic graphs. Look at it daily, weekly, monthly — your call. We do not gate the data behind PDF email attachments.
Is the platform something you built or a white-labeled tool?
We built it. Over 8 years. The keyword tracker, geo-grid heatmap, syndication network, content pipeline, and reporting layer are all in-house code running on our infrastructure. We do use third-party APIs for some inputs (SERP data, GSC, GA4) — but the orchestration and the UI are ours.
Can I export my data if I leave?
Yes. Every Profit Labs™ plan includes a one-click export of your keyword list, ranking history, all published content (with URLs), and all backlink placements. We don't believe in data hostage situations — if you leave, you leave with everything.
